Ep. 16/ This body
Consider everything that goes into the experience of having a HUMAN body.

This is a chat about the temporary experience and perception of “having” a human body.
There’s this interesting experience of when and how we cross the chasm of identifying something as “not me” to “me.” When we stop and spend time experiencing a glass of water as “not me” we find that at some moment as you drink, completely decided by your mind, it becomes “you.” And as water leaves your body, you arbitrarily decide it’s not you.
This seems simple. But it’s very important. Most people cling to their identity as their most essential “possession.” All that we hold as separate and “ours” starts with what we claim as ourself and other. From that simple place of identifying self, all the vast complexity of suffering from injustices of greed and climate change to racism, sexism and all the isms starts with “me” and “not me.”
Experiencing “me” and mine is vastly different than “I am.” So these little things are actually quite important to ponder but more importantly to experience.
“This body is a temporary tool to learn from the experiences of separation. ”
